On the 1th of January, 2019 the Muslim college graduation ceremony for the 2 batch of Diploma students held at Grand Hadi hotel in Hargeisa.
The Muslim college graduated students from six Diploma programs being Faculties of clinical Nursing,Midwifery,laboratory,Nutrition and pharmacology .
The graduation ceremony was attended by the Minister of Justice ,minister of telecommunication and technology,Deputy minister of Somaliland MFA,Head of Disaster Preparedness and Food Storage Agency and members of Opposition parties (Waddani and UCID) .The event was also attended by prominent businesses across the country like Somcable, Telesom, etc.
The chancellor of the Muslim College, elaborated on the different metamorphosis the varsity had to undergo to reach the level it is today. He went on to reveal that many graduates the university has baked have benefited from the knowledge instilled and are today reaping the rewards of that endeavors.
The President of Muslim College Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Osman Chairman in his speech sais “Muslim College was established in Hargeisa town in 2016.The College commenced its academic task with diploma program. It has been exerting much effort to expand its academic programs extensively and intensively.”Abdirahman Mohamed Osman
The president of Muslim College also added “More than 150 students (130 Women and 20 Men) the 2 batch to have graduated from the various faculties of Muslim College.”Said Abdirahman mohamed Osman
The minister of telecommunication and technology , Minister of Justice ,Deputy minister of Somaliland MFA,Head of Disaster Preparedness and Food Storage Agency,Secretary of Waddani Party and deputy chairman of UCID Party who also spoke on the occasion, congratulated the students graduated from Muslim College.
Finally, The government ministers handed out awards to top students for their diligence.
The graduates who are the Second batch to graduate from the institution since its inception back in 2016.
